Basil and Rye recipe

- 3 large basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar, simple syrup or agave nectar
- 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1.5 oz Rye Whiskey
- Muddle the basil, sugar and lemon juice with ice until the basil is broken up.
- Add in the rye and more ice and shake until condensation starts to form on the shaker.
- Strain into a cocktail glass.
